Day 1 ~ Windhoek-Keetmanshoop
This morning on arrival at Windhoek airport you will be met by your private guide. You will head South to Keetmanshoop. In the late afternoon you have an opportunity to visit Quiver tree forest and Giants Playground.
500kms – 5 hour drive

Day 2 ~ Luderitz
Today we head West to the coast and the famous town of Luderitz.

Day 3 ~ Kolmanskop
This morning you will join one of the guided tours of Kolmanskop, which is Namibia’s most famous ghost town, and is situated in the Sperrgebiet, (forbidden territory) a few kilometers inland from the port of Luderitz.
Photography permit included for sunrise access.
After lunch we continue into the Tiras mountains, and on the edge of the Namib desert the Koiimasis Ranch is picturesquely surrounded by red shining granite rocks.

Day 4 ~ Soussousvlei
We drive straight to the heart of the Namib Desert. From your camp, you have magnificent views of the mountains. In the late afternoon, we will visit Sesriem Canyon.

Day 5 ~ Swakopmund
We rise early today to catch the sun rising over the spectacular dunes, totally breathtaking. For energetic types you can climb dune 45, or else relax at the bottom of the dune and soak up the atmosphere. After breakfast we will continue on foot into the desert, to take us to Deadvlei.
After lunch, we drive to Swakopmund our journey takes us through some very unusual scenery, the strangest of which being the ‘moon landscape’.
Before arriving at Swakopmund we will stop off at Walvis Bay to visit the flamingo colony that is present most of the year round time permitting.

Day 6 ~ Kamanjab
Early start this morning as we have a long drive ahead of us.

Day 7 ~ Kamanjab – Otjiwarongo
This morning join a guided tour of an authentic Himba village.
ACCOMMODATION: Out of Africa Guest house

Day 8 ~ Windhoek
Depending on your departure flight times we will stop off enroute to Windhoek in Okanhanja Wood Cavers are a major tourist attraction and offer curios at very low prices.
Stone and other products are also available. Most of the items sold are truly African and are made locally. So make sure you visit the entrepreneurs and get something special to take home.
The central region of Namibia are known for their friendly hosts and fine cuisine. A wide variety of bird life, wild life and an unique flora.
Drop off Windhoek airport.
