Day 1 ~ Johannesburg – Kruger National Park
Pick up from your hotel in Gauteng or OR Tambo airport at 9am and travel via the Highveld grasslands to the subtropical Lowveld. At Tremisana Game Lodge in the Balule section of the Kruger National Park, unwind at the bar, enjoy a refreshing dip in our pool and relax in the beautiful tropical gardens. Board an open Landcruiser for a 3h Sunset Drive, your first opportunity to experience the varied fauna and flora of Africa. Watch the magnificent African sunset and, after dark, use spotlights to locate nocturnal animals. Dinner will be an unforgettable BUSH BRAAI in the Marula Tree Boma deep in the African bush. Continue the night drive after dinner and overnight in comfortable en suite chalet at Tremisana Lodge.

Day 2 ~ Kruger National Park
At sunrise drive to a remote spot to enjoy a 4 hour Bush Walk. Your ranger will lead you through the bush at a pace you can handle. The thrill of following big animals will remain with you forever. Adrenalin surges will be acute, even if your ranger is adequately armed. Return to Tremisana for brunch. At around 15h00 we enjoy an afternoon game drive. Transfer to Marc’s Treehouse Lodge where accommodation is in romantic and fascinating treehouses. Dinner in the open Boma. Overnight in your fascinating Treehouse.

Day 3 ~ Kruger National Park
Drive to the Orpen Gate of Kruger on a custom-built open-sided Gameviewer. You will have an opportunity to view game without intervening glass windows and also listen to and smell the denizens of the bush. We have regular stops at picnic spots, restcamps and places of interest.
The Orpen-Satara-Nwanedzi region’s open plains attract large herds of zebra, giraffe and antelope that, in turn, attract many predators. In fact this zone has the highest concentration of lions in Africa.

Day 4 ~ Kruger National Park
After breakfast, we travel to the Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre for injured and orphaned animals and birds. You will have an opportunity to get close and personal to some of the residents, including lions and leopards.
After lunch you drive to Marc’s Treehouse Lodge. Sunset game drive at Motlala Game Reserve. Return to Marc’s Treehouse Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 ~ Johannesburg
Enjoy a Sunrise Walk. After breakfast, drive via the Panorama Route to see the scenic splendours including the Three Rondawels and the Blyde River Canyon. We return to Gauteng in the late afternoon.

Day 6 ~ Kasane, Botswana
On the border of Chobe National park
Transfer to the airport for a morning flight from Johannesburg to Livingstone Zambia.
On arrival in Livingstone our transfer agent will escort you across the border into Botswana.
This afternoon there is a fantastic game viewing river cruise included, where you have the opportunity to see vast numbers of elephants, buffalo and much more. If time does not allow for this activity today it will be included the following afternoon.

Day 7 ~ Kasane
You will enjoy an early morning 4 x 4 game drive in Chobe National Park (Chobe is home to lion, elephant and buffalo as well as many, many other animals).

Day 8 ~ Livingstone, Zambia
After breakfast you will be transferred across the border into Zambia here you will be met by the lodge driver and transferred to the Zambezi Waterfront.
In the late afternoon a guided walk of the Falls National Park is included, where you are free to roam around and explore the area.

Day 9 & 10 ~ Livingstone, Zambia
There are many optional activities you can try, including, scenic flights, bungy jumping, elephant rides, white water rafting and much more! Your guide will book any activities for you. If you would like a price guide for optional activities please ask Kate when booking!
On the second night enjoy a sundowner cruise down the mighty Zambezi river, where you can reflect on the adventures of the last few days.

Day 11 ~ Livingstone – Johannesburg
Free morning for early optional activities followed by 11am transfer to the airport for your return flight to Johannesburg landing around 15:30.
