The evenings are spent in a truly unforgettable fashion around a campfire, listening to the night sounds of wild Africa, as your hosts prepare traditional South African meals on the open fire.
We will do at least 2 extended game drives a day, looking out for the Big 5( Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo), as well as a multitude of other animals.

Camping Tours.

Our camping tours are on a luxury, non participation basis.

Our tents are excellent quality canvas dome tents, that are extremely spacious (you can stand up in our tents, and there is plenty of room to move around!)
The tents are completely mosquito and bug proof (unless you leave the door open of course.
There are large windows on all sides, with external window flaps, that can be opened in hot weather and zipped closed in the event of rain.
There is also a skylight area in the roof which can be opened to see the stars at night.

All tents will be erected by the guide.

We use large inflatable mattresses, as opposed to the foam ones used by the overlanding companies.
These will be inflated and installed by the guides.
We provide 2 pillows per person (please let us know if you are allergic to feathers as we will provide you with synthetic fibre pillows.
If you do not have a sleeping bag we can provide you with a good quality sleeping bag for all weathers. (R10 a night. Sleeping bags are laundered after every trip)

You will be provided with 1 torch per person and 1 tin of insect repellent per tent.
