Day 3 Mobile
Moremi Safari or Fly in Moremi Lodge Safari
An early start after breakfast, we depart for our Moremi National
Park Safari. Either mobile camping (all inc) or fly in Lodge based
Safari.
Mobile safaris
are used to access Botswana's National Parks and Game Reserves including
Moremi Game Reserve. They are one of the best ways to discover many
of the various animals, habitats, terrains and wilderness areas
on offer in this magnificent country.
A mobile safari
is a go-anywhere, see-anything, experience-all way to travel. Giving
the mobility of an entire fully-equipped camp on wheels, this intimate
method is an excellent way for a private group to be in an exclusive
camp, with furnished tents, en-suite bathrooms, a private chef,
camp staff and vehicles for sole use of the clients.
Set in the North-Eastern
part of the Okavango, Khwai is a community run concession based
along the northern shore of the River Khwai. It sits between the
Moremi Game Reserve and the Chobe National Park and is a very beautiful
area that is popular with those in the know.
Khwai is an area that always conjures something up for anyone who
visits, and being here on a mobile safari, with the ability to operate
your own timetable with your private guide either by vehicle, day
or night, or on foot, will give you an experience you will never
forget.

Day 7 Kalahari
Desert
Far off the beaten track, the Central Kalahari Game Reserve is the
best area in the country for viewing Cheetah as well as the famous,
and huge, black-maned Lions. The predator densities are excellent
and leopard and wild dogs are also spotted frequently. Other species
found include the Brown Hyena, Caracal, Honey Badger, Wildebeest,
and Eland, Africa's largest antelope.

Day 9 Salt
Pans
Situated to the northern edge of the Makgadikgadi, Nxai Pans National
Park is a stunning area with great vistas of vast open plains, islands
of acacia, all fringed by Kalahari scrubland, and overseen by ancient,
stately baobabs at the periphery; many describe it as the Africa
they always imagined.
One of Botswana's
smallest National Parks, Nxai Pans is an amazing place to view exceptional
game, and is the only place in Botswana where one can view impala
side by side with springbok. It is a draw to many animals in the
rainy season, seeking fresh grazing, and water. The mighty zebra
migration from the Linyanti, Chobe and Okavango pulls through here
on its way south to the Makgadikgadi, for the fresh grazing towards
the edge of the salt pans.
