	Truly Africa is a owner run operation which specialises in small group tours (2-6 people) in luxury air conditioned vehicles. Owner Linkie Groenewald has been guiding in Southern Africa for many years, prior to this he spent a long time in the service industry. Linkie still guides a number of tours, in the future he will be in the office more, ensuring smooth running of all operations. There will also be a number of exciting expeditions to keep his passion alive. 	Accommodated Tours All our accommodation has been carefully selected through rigorous research and testing. In safari locations we use a combination of luxury permanent tents and private luxury bungalows at game lodges, resorts and National park locations. The luxury tents are part canvas, part permanent structure, with en suite bathrooms (the tents sleep 2 persons in twin beds). Bungalows sleep between 2 and 4 persons, and are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. In non safari locations we use a combination of private bungalows, log cabins and guest houses and 3star plus Hotel accommodation. We do not use backpacker accommodation for our accommodated tours! Food on accommodated tours: We include all breakfasts and one evening barbeque style meal prepared on the camp fire under our African sky when possible. Breakfasts will be cooked and provided by the accommodation establishments. Meals not included are in select restaurants at the clients leisure. At self catering venues you are welcome to shop and make use of the facilities. At certain lodges dinners and /or lunches are included. On some routes there are no restaurants and packed or picnic lunches will be provided, please see the appropriate itineraries for the relevant meal plans.

	Camping tours Our camping tours are on a luxury, non participation basis. Our tents are excellent quality canvas dome tents, that are extremely spacious (you can stand up in our tents, and there is plenty of room to move around!) The tents are completely mosquito and bug proof (unless you leave the door open of course.) There are large windows on all sides, with external window flaps, that can be opened in hot weather and zipped closed in the event of rain. (you are leaving out skylight and all tents erected by guide bits , we will tell them with 2 people one guide may need help) We use comfortable stretcher beds which easily fit inside the tent, with plenty space for luggage and movement. We provide one pillow per person and sleeping bags can be provided.(please let us know if you are allergic to feathers as we will provide you with synthetic fibre pillows.) If you do not have a sleeping bag we can provide you with a good quality sleeping bag for all weathers. (R10 a night. Sleeping bags are laundered after every trip) You will be provided with 1 torch per person and 1 tin of insect repellent per tent. Food on camping tours: We include all breakfasts and at least one barbeque style meal prepared on the camp fire under our African skies. Breakfasts will be provided by the guide, you will have input as to your preferences. The average meal plan will include continental style breakfasts (cereal/muesli, fruit, cold meats and cheese) as well as cooked breakfasts (eggs, bacon etc). Meals not included are in select restaurants at the clients leisure. At self catering venues you are welcome to shop and make use of the facilities (the guide will gladly assist). On some routes there are no restaurants and packed or picnic lunches will be provided, please see the appropriate itineraries for the relevant meal plans.
